Rex Taylor's Obituary
Rex Delano Taylor, 84, was born on February 24, 1933 and passed away on July 26, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a generous, loving husband to Virginia for 64 years, and father, grandfather, and prominent businessman in his time. Rex was the founder and sole proprietor along with his wife Virginia, owning Taylor Precision Manufacturing in Tulsa, OK. He later became quite a cattle rancher when he and his wife moved out to Inola, building what was the biggest house in the state of Oklahoma. Rex lived a life unlike most could imagine and did things his way. Rex was preceded in death by his mother, Rena; father, Clyde; brothers, Troy and Roy; and sister, Dorothy. Rex’s wife Virginia; daughters Cathey Taylor and Deborah Crabtree; grandsons Jeffrey Floyd Pingrey and Benjamin Taylor Crabtree and wife Chisato; great-grandchildren Hayden Rex Pingrey and Iris Crabtree all survive him.Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 1, from 5 pm – 8pm. Services are scheduled for 12:30 pm on Wednesday, August 2, at Floral Haven Chapel.
