Rhea Colleen Gray's Obituary
Rhea 'Colleen' (Mowery) Gray went to join the Lord Sunday, September 30, 2012. She was born in Bartlesville October 9, 1931, along with her twin brother George Eugene Mowery, to the late George and Helen Mowery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ray Gray and her son Gerald Brian Gray. Still living and cared for her is her son Michael Scott Gray and his wife Lesa and son David Lawrence Gray. She is also survived by a sister, Lorraine Henderson and four brothers, Ronald, George (Gene), Carl, and Terry Mowery, two grandchildren Scott and Courtney Gray and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She graduated from Central High School in 1950. Colleen always helped her Mother and Dad and always kept an 'eye' out for her brothers and sister. She was a good wife and a wonderful mother. She was very good in a lot of different crafts such as: painting in water colors and oil, making all kinds of ceramics and when the children were younger always made extraordinary Halloween costumes and decorations for her boys. She enjoyed reading, water sports (which included boating, fishing, skiing and wave running) and watching old movies on TV and was always very giving and caring and never missed anyone's birthday. She liked to travel and her favorite place was Destin, FL.
