Rhonda Kay Stabler's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Rhonda Kay Stabler (Rhonda Kay Allen), (Rhonda Kay Pitts). A fountain of love, strength, and fun. Rhonda Kay left this world at 50 years old, after a
strong fight against Pancreatic Cancer on January 4th, 2024 at Ascension St John in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Rhonda was born on July 7, 1973, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to her parents Houston and Edna Pitts. Rhonda was accompanied through childhood by her younger sister Tara in their home in Harrah, OK. In
school, Rhonda excelled in English, winning state spelling bee competitions, and chose to pursue higher education after graduating in the Harrah High School class of 1991. Rhonda achieved a
Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Oklahoma State University, and later a Master’s degree from University of Tulsa in Speech Language Pathology. At Oklahoma State, Rhonda met her first husband, Jason Kevin Allen. Rhonda and Jason had 4 children, Hayden, Mackinlee, Sydney, and J.T and they resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Owasso, Oklahoma where Rhonda spent time as a special education teacher and geriatric rehabilitation speech therapist. In 2017, Rhonda remarried to Kenneth (Kenny) Stabler, adding Dakota, Michaela, and Aiden into her family in Coweta, Oklahoma. Rhonda spent the majority of her career as a geriatric speech therapist, spending countless hours traveling to nursing centers around Northeastern Oklahoma. She prided herself on the work she was doing, and pushed for others to make an impact in their communities. Rhonda was regularly found coordinating events for her residents to ensure they were beyond comfortable, and able to enjoy life. In her life outside of work, Rhonda could be found enjoying herself surrounded by the love of friends enjoying music, good food, and laughter.
Rhonda was known by those around her as a loving, caring woman, who passionately ensured
that all felt loved and included. She lived by identifying her gifts, and using them to raise up
those around her. Rhonda prided herself as a ‘Lolly’ to her grandchildren and spoiled them
rotten. She was always on the move and looking forward to the next big event. Life was never
dull with Rhonda.
Rhonda was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Adams of
Vernon, TX and paternal grandparents, Houston and Barbara Pitts of Muskogee, OK. Rhonda is
survived by her loving husband Kenny Stabler (Coweta, OK), her wonderful parents Houston
and Edna Pitts (Moore, OK), her sister Tara Pitts (Moore, OK), her four children, Hayden and
Lauren Allen (Celina, TX), Mackinlee Allen (Chattanooga, TN), Sydney Allen (Owasso, OK), and
Jaden Carpio (Coweta, OK) and their father Jason Kevin Allen (Jenks, OK), her bonus children
Dakota Stabler (Bentonville, AR), Micheala Stabler (Broken Arrow, OK), and Aiden Stabler, her
grandchildren Saxon, Oakley, and Chaplin Beets, Devyn Schader, and Lane Schader, and many
cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who she loved dearly.
Visitation will be offered at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK, on Sunday,
January 14, from 12-2PM. A small graveside service at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow,

Elk’s Lodge #2673, in Broken Arrow, OK. In fulfilling Rhonda’s wish, the family requests guests

forever. Be kind. Find your gifts, and make a difference in your world, positively impacting those
around you, and don’t forget to laugh and have fun along the way.
