Nancy Blass
Rick was my rock - always strong and supportive of me, not matter what it was. We married to create a family, and that is exactly what we did, one for which we were always thankful and loyal. Rick spent 46 years of his life serving our country in one way or another - through the USAF, California Air National Guard, and then 36 years in Civil Service at both the Sacramento Army Depot and Tinker AFB. Ricks greatest gift to those who he befriended or loved was his constant, unwavering loyalty, caring, and sometimes quirky sense of humor. He was kind, and even while dying in the hospital, he thought of children suffering with cancer and wanted to do something to help them. That was Rick, my husband, my lover, and my Very Best Friend. We were together 45 years, and he leaves behind a hole in my heart that nothing can ever fill. Rest peacefully, my beautiful man. I will join you one day.
