Richard Lozano Briones' Obituary
Richard Lozano Briones, age 76, passed away on May 27, 2015 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Richard was born on January 27, 1939 in Houston, Texas to his parents Georgia Lozano and Alex Briones. He received his general education from Stephen F. Austin High School. After his schooling, he enlisted into the Navy to serve from January 1957 to January 1961 during the Vietnam war. He reached the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class before his retirement from the Navy. Once he was discharged from the service, Richard played semi-pro baseball for a few years before beginning his career in Freight Forwarding. He provided loyal service for over 54 years before his retirement. Beyond his dedicated service to his craft, Richard was a kind hearted man who cherished his family above all. He enjoyed playing sports, going fishing, or driving around on his motorcycle. Richard is survived by his wife Linda Briones, his daughter Stephanie Briones, his son Richard K. Briones, his two step-sons Michael Ritter and Robbie Ritter, his step-daughter Deborah Ritter, his two sisters Mary Menchaca and Norma Williams, and his two brothers Alfred Briones and Rudy Briones. Memorial Services will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on May 29, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
