Richard William Byrd, age 90 years old, passed from this life, January 7, 2016. Mr. Byrd was born March 01, 1925, to Lee and Leona (Ogesby) Byrd, in Ada, Oklahoma. A celebration of life memorial service will be planned at the Memorial Drive Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Byrd was a retired accountant with AMOCO. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Memorial Drive Baptist, 2800 S. Yale Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inurnment will be in the Rose Dale Cemetery, in Ada, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard William Byrd name and honor can be made to the St. Jude’s Hospital.
