He was married to his wife Pat on January 11, 1955 in Claremore, Oklahoma.A funeral service was held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Tommy Seals officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owasso Firefighters in Owasso, Oklahoma.Survived By: his wife: Pat Finnell; children: Jerri Young and husband Steve, Angela Lynn Finnell, Sherry Lee Downey and husband Jeff, Richard Lee Finnell, Jr. and wife Gail; grandchildren: Amber and Brian Shook, Misty and Rich Rubio, Derrick Roberts and wife Lisa, Landon James Matthews and wife April, Christen Renee Matthews, Aaron Cole Downey, Trevor Kagen Downey, Aidan LeeAnn Finnell, Nissa Shae Finnell; great grandchildren: Maddox Shook, Mason and Sebastian Rubio, Addyson and Kelsei Roberts, Cheyanne Matthews; brothers and sisters: Herbert Earl Finnell, Jr., Donna Mae Finnell and Jimmy Edward Finnell. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Edna Finnell Sr. and 1 brother Jerry Dale.
