Richard Fowler-Cox's Obituary
Richard Fowler-Cox, 63, passed away April 4, 2020. Richard grew up in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1974. A lifelong fan of OSU football, Richard went to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in 1978. He was part of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. Richard won everyone he met over with his "one of a kind" personality, and sense of humor. He valued his friends and it showed through his deep friendships. He was a fan of having a good time, he loved John Wayne movies, history, boating, hiking, and snow skiing. He was always up for a fun putting. Richard lived in Denver and Vail, Colorado from 1984-1994 where he bartender and managed restaurants. He lived a life full of fun and adventure and will be greatly missed by all he touched.
Richard is proceeded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Cox, mother Norma F. Scribner, brother, James Fowler, and brother Mark Cox. He will be remembered and missed by his wife Janet Fowler-Cox, and his sister Lisa Fowler as well as numerous friends and family.
