Richard was a great guy! He was on the golf team called the ‘Po Dunks’ which was such a comical name! They were quite a team…my husband was on that team with Richard.
He was so nice to work with at American Airlines. I am so glad our paths crossed in this life.
RIP Richard.
Dear Scott, Steve, Kelly and Norma and family,
It was my pleasure to watch as your family developed and extended over the years from the time Sally and I worked together at Boevers and then became our neighbors in Country Aire. You have always welcomed others as friends and family would gather at the Reibert household. It is obvious that Richard and Sally raised some amazing children and a Godsend that Norma was blessed to join in after Sally’s death to share her love with this fine group. My wish is that for all the memories that you have of years gone by, the memories will never fade and will continue to be a blessing to your lives. May Richard rest in peace as a life well lived, full of devotion to others, and become a legacy never forgotten. I love all you guys!
I was sort of shocked to see Richard had passed. Richard & I went back a long ways. We both worked at a camera store named Rochester Photo during years of 1958 to 1963. My wife Diane & I lived in same apt. complex as Richard & Sally. Same floor and kitchens were back to back so Richard and I could holler to each other while we did dinner dishes. That’s how thin the walls were. The girls did the cooking but made Richard & I do the dishes. We had some memorable times with Richard & Sally. Lost contact after that time. After I had been working at American Airlines for some years, I saw Richard there. Did not know about him coming on board at American. Afterwards we lost contact again until Sally’s sickness and subsequent death. At her memorial service we wished we had stayed connected. Such a touching service. Was so glad Sally had her good friend Norma by her side. From the video, I can see Richard had a great family. Good families are so important. Visiting with Richard at his home after Sally’s service, we were able to reacquaint with Norma. So glad Richard & Norma had some good times together. I did talk to Richard via phone but never followed beyond. Our condolences to Norma and rest of family.
Will always have fond memories of the time Richard and I worked together at American Airlines. I could always count on him for his expertise and help.
RIP brother
Just received the news of our friend Richards’ passing. We are so saddened to learn this. Linda and I shared many pleasant hours of fellowship with Richard and Norma on their deck at Tenkiller Lake. We will always remember and cherish the friendship we shared with them. God bless you Richard.
