Mr. and Mrs. Sharp were always made you feel welcome in their home, made you feel like you were family. I remember hanging out with Cyndee and always seeing them laughing together, you could tell how much they loved each other. After I "grew up, got married…." when I would see him, he would always hug me and ask, "Ann Deets, how are you doing? " the first time I laughed and said, "hey I got married!" Mr.Sharp winked at me, hugged me and said, "You'll always be Ann Deets to me no matter how old or married you are" ?? And he did and it always made me smile. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, peace be with you now and always.
You asked me "where have all the butterflies gone?" I hope they are fluttering all around you & Momma now!
My sympathies to Dick's family. I worked with Dick (then we called him Mr. Sharp) at the first company I ever worked (CISCO). I had the opportunity to work with Dick again in later years at a different company. Dick was always a pleasure to work with and would explain programming terms in a way you could understand. I remember his high regard for the Marines and his loving attitude with his family. He was a great guy and told some great stores. I don't recall ever seeing this picture of Dick, very handsome indeed. He will be missed by many friends from the past. Joy (Raby) Chambers
