Growing up a few houses away from Rick and his parents during Adolescence is like permanently etched in my mind, and in my heart. He was the kind of friend that was there to support me through every heart break a teenage girl goes through. Many of my ball games I would turn around from my position of catcher and see Rick with his buddies watching through the little squares of the backstop. Rick could tell stories like no other and, thankfully, some were not true! We road dirt bikes together not far from our homes. We road bicycles everywhere we could. We shared more laughs than most. I am so thankful that God placed us in the same neighborhood at that time in my life. I will miss you, Rick. May you Rest In Peace. Praying for your family.
