Richard Lee Walworth's Obituary
Richard Lee Walworth, 87, passed away August 20, 2015, in Tulsa, OK. Richard was born July 22, 1928, to Calvin “Lee” and Flossie (Savage) Walworth in Parsons, KS. After marrying his high school sweetheart in March of 1947 he served in the US NAVY. After Honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked for Dover Elevator and from there began as a small business owner in Jenks, OK. Retirement with his wife then began at Grand Lake where they resided for 29 years. Richard is survived by the Love of His Life for 68 years, Frieda (Dobbs) Walworth, Son, Rick L Walworth and Daughters Sherry G Walworth and Kim Baucom: His Grandchildren, Heather Maher, Holly & Husband Josh Sherman, Ryan & Wife Amber Mahan: Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie Maher, Paizley Mahan, Parker Mahan, and Avery Sherman. His Brother Bill Walworth and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family members. Richard was preceded in death by his Parents, Grandson, Christopher Mahan, and Son-In-Law, Joe Baucom. Services will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2015. There will be a military grave side service.
