Rick "Shannon" Crenshaw's Obituary
The life of Rick Shannon Crenshaw, beloved son of Ray and Gerayln Crenshaw began on May 3rd, 1987 in Tulsa Oklahoma. He attended Union Schools and graduated from Union High School in 2006. Shannon’s passion for trucks inspired him to turn a hobby of customizing trucks into a new level of trucking. By the age of 19, Shannon was well on his way to being one of the best. He entered his first truck show in Dallas, TX, where he took 2nd place, and by the age of 22, with his innovative style, he took 1st place at a truck show in Louisville, KY. Shannon later went on to be the President of JD Specialized Transport in Sapulpa, Oklahoma which specializes in time sensitive and over dimensional freight. In his 29 years, Shannon leaves behind a legacy that began with his father and took it beyond anyone’s expectations. He was full of life and could light up any room with his infectious smile and laughter. He left a lasting impression on all those he met. Shannon is survived by his wife Ashli and two daughters, Boston age 8 and Dayton age 4 of Glenpool Oklahoma, his parents Ray and Geralyn Crenshaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his two sisters LaTeashea and Cassey, his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Crenshaw of Giddings, Texas and his maternal grandparents John and Mary Sherman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends. A visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
