Ricky or should I say "Big Ricky" was like family to our kids. He would come home from a trip on the road and all of the kids that Mimi watched thought of him as a big teddy bear. Our daughter Lillie was very small and didn't like men very much but did not have a problem with jumping up in Ricky's lap and listening to him talk in that big deep voice. On the other hand, our son Grant loved to go out and climb on Ricky's semi and later like to visit with him when Mimi and Ricky came in to his work. Ricky was always talking about the Lord and I know that he is with both of his fathers in heaven. He will be missed greatly!The Knight Family
Ricky will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity, his sincerity, and his strong convictions. He surely left an indelible and lasting impression on the trucking community, as he traveled Americaâ??s highways for many years, and experienced all that she has to offer. His faith in God was unwavering, and his powerful, baritone voice provided the perfect tool to preach the Word of God. And, we will always remember his hearty laugh and kid-like humor. Ricky gave his all to his family and friends, and will be sorely missed.
