Celebrating the Life of Rita Joan Castleberry
Rita Joan Castleberry, 77, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away January 25, 2021. Rita was born November 5, 1943 in Oakland, California to Kenneth and Margaret Cargile. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved her savior Jesus Christ and devoted her life to helping others receive him as their personal savior while attending Victory Christian Center for many years with her husband Bill. She loved her granddaughters deeply and always enjoyed coming to see their many activities. She will be dearly missed by everyone that loved her.
Rita is survived by her sons Gary Morgan and his wife Rita, Mark Castleberry and his wife Kelly, grandchildren Courtney Castleberry, Brianna Castleberry, Addison Castleberry brothers Leroy Cargile and Fred Cargile and numerous other family members and friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Margaret Cargile, her husband of 31 years Bill Castleberry.
Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28th, 2021, from 4-6 p.m.
A Celebration of Rita’s life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021 at Floral Haven Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions may be made in Rita’s memory to the Tulsa Dream Center, 200 W. 46th St. N., Tulsa, OK, 74126.
