Rita Kay Chambers' Obituary
Rita Kay Chambers, 76, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away August 28, 2020. Rita was born July 19, 1944 in Anderson, Indiana. Rita was a 1962 graduate of Madison Heights High School and then went on to attend Ball Sate University and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Rita married the love of her life, Dennis Dean Chambers August 19th at the Madison Avenue Methodist Church. After their honeymoon in Colorado they moved to Middleton, NY where Dennis accepted a teaching position eventually the couple would move to Oklahoma. Rita devoted much of her life to Ministry. She and Dennis began ministering in 1996 with Bridges for Peace. The organization was founded in 1976,and was dedicated to seeking ministry of hope and reconciliation by building relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world. Rita was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Rita was preceded in passing by her parents, James Anthony Holladay and Mary Ellen Holladay (Bryce); her son, Greggory Aaron Chambers; her brother, Gary Holladay and her sisters, Donna Frazier and Norma Horton.
Rita is survived by her husband, Dennis Chambers; son, Shane Chambers and his wife, Michelle; son, Bryce Chambers; son, Jason Chambers and his wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Dylan Chambers, Alyssa Chambers, Nevah Chambers, Cody Chambers and Ella Chambers; her brother, Anthony J. Holladay and numerous other family members and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 4, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
