My favorite memory of Rita was when we got to walk together, representing Omni, during Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I was very pregnant with my son at the time and she kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. I let her know that walking was one of my favorite activities and couldn’t wait to go for walks with my son after he was born. We got to bond and become better co workers and friends. It was a wonderful day. For my baby shower, she gifted me a jogging stroller and she was beaming when she said “it’s for those walks you told me about”. I still think of her every time I take my son out in the stroller (he’s almost 4 now). She had no idea how much that meant to me. She will be greatly missed. ❤️

Rita was an amazing woman and I am so happy I got to know her during her time at Omni. She was truly a shining light and always so willing to help anyone that asked. My fondest memories of her are working with her on a Habitat for Humanity build....we worked our hearts out but always had a good time doing it. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
