RoAnna Lynn Berry's Obituary
RoAnna Lynn “Ro” Berry, 72, passed away on July 21, 2025. Born on February 4, 1953, in Tulsa, OK. Ro was the daughter of Rona and Richard Dawes. Raised in Tulsa, Ro graduated from Will Rogers high school and soon began the journey of a lifetime when she married her beloved, George R Berry III on July 21st, 1971 in Tulsa, OK. When Ro passed, she and George were days away from celebrating their 54th year of marriage. George and Ro provided their friends and family with the picture of what it truly means to find your soulmate and dedicate your lives to each other unwaveringly. Ro and George were blessed with a daughter Stephanie and son Geoff and together began building a lifetime of precious memories. Ro worked for Met Life Insurance Company and retired after 26 years. Shortly after retirement Ro began her journey as a business owner, purchasing the Ron’s in Claremore. She loved visiting with her customers. Her employees were her second family.
Ro cherished her family, she loved deeply, fiercely and fully. Stephanie and Ro were beyond mother and daughter, they were best friends who shared a kind of bond that is unbreakable and beautiful. Geoff provided her constant laughs and entertainment. She was always there for him and he was always there for her, they were quite the pair. Ro’s favorite and most happy place was on the beach with George, her loving children and most precious grandchildren. Roanna loved New York, Broadway shows, Yankee games and of course shopping. The greatest joy of her life was watching her grandchildren compete in the sports they loved which included baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball. She was their biggest fan.
RoAnna was known by many names – Mom to Stephanie and Geoff, Grams to Jackson, Kamdyn and Kate and Ro by her beloved George. No matter what you called her, you were better for having your life touched by her. She was an angel among us, our sunshine and our guiding light. Ro’s kindness, unwavering faith in God, and gentle heart will be forever remembered. She leaves behind a tapestry of love, dedication and cherished memories that will comfort her family and friends for years to come. She was pure love in human form.
Ro is survived by her husband, George R. Berry. III, of the home; her daughter Stephanie Archambeau and her children, Jackson and Kate of Broken Arrow, OK; son, Geoff Berry and wife Nancy and their daughter Kamdyn of Broken Arrow, OK; and many other family members and friends. God in our hearts forever.
