Robbie A. Thomas' Obituary
Robbie A. Thomas was born on April 28, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she grew up and lived her entire life. She passed away on October 31st, 2024. Robbie was 80 years old.
Robbie lived and grew up in Tulsa. She attended Will Rogers high school and attended Tulsa University and studied Art.
Her parents were Robert Gale Pettus and Charlyne Oleta Pettus who both have preceded her in death. Though her parents moved to Texas during her college years Robbie chose to stay in Tulsa to be with her Grandmother Martha Ellen Hale, "Grannie"
Robbie married Bill Thomas on January 21st, 1978.
Robbie worked as a real estate agent for Century 21 and Rader Group Realtors in Tulsa, before retiring to become a mom to Kevin and Randy.
Robbie was president of Tulsa Meals on Wheels for 2 years and was active in the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Community Service Sorority for 32 years. She was very active in ESA and worked on many large projects and made an impact in the Tulsa community. Robbie was passionate about, and very active in serving in charitable causes.
Robbie was always known for her smile, her creativity and service. She always found the best cards for almost any occasion.
Robbie has been an active member of Tulsa Bible Church for 46 years and made a large impact on children through her and her husband Bill serving in Kids Clubs teaching children about Jesus.
Robbie is survived by her Husband Bill, Sons Randy and Kevin Thomas and Kevins wife Karen. Her sister Rebecca Campbell, and her husband Frank from Dallas, Texas. Her Brother Michael Pettus and his wife Joyce, from Conroe, Texas. Her grandchildren included Cooper Thomas, Lindsay Hether, Dalton Thomas and Miranda Thomas. She was preceded in death of her grandchild Kevin jr.
Robbie also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Robbie loved having lunch with her girlfriends and loved to shop, in fact the family could always count on getting gifts at random times throughout the year. She loved Steinmart and watching mystery shows on TV.
