Robert Earl Adams Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Earl Adams, age 93, passed from this life on January 18, 2026, in Clermont, Florida. He was born on March 15, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to his parents, Robert Earl Adams and Blanche (McMillan) Adams.
Known affectionately to most as Bob, he was a bright light in the lives of many and will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and steady presence. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and character.
Bob earned a master’s degree in education and had a lifelong love of teaching and learning. He found great joy in helping others grow, sharing knowledge, and encouraging those around him. His influence as an educator and mentor reached far beyond the classroom and touched countless lives.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Elaine Adams, his daughter Laurelle Lemon, and his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Robert “Clint” Adams; his daughter, JoAnn Ellis and her husband, Marty; his grandchildren, Cameron Adams and his wife Holly, Brady Adams, Cody Ellis and his wife Natasha, Nowana Ellis, Susan Sandman, T.C. Ellis, and Marty Ellis III; many cherished great-grandchildren; along with other beloved family members and dear friends.
A visitation to come and pay respects to Bob will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 12PM – 7PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest with his late wife Elaine at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
