My Best Friend
Robert was the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man I knew. He was my best friend. If you asked, he would give you the shirt off his back. He was always thinking of other people before himself. He helped people every day, old or young, Robert would be there. He was a simple man with simple ways and believed in God until the very end. He was my wall when everything else was falling apart. He was always there to tell me “things were going to be alright”. He never said a lot but when he did, it was from his heart. It’s only been a few days and I already miss my best friend. When God came and got you, he took my heart too.
