To my precious father. I love you so very much dad. You lived to be 87 years old and god blessed you with this wonderful age. I'm so thankful your not suffering in this life anymore but will miss you every day and think of you every time I come to Tulsa. I remember when I was young you I made you a pot of pinto beans and forgot to clean them. You sat at the kitchen table and tried to eat those nasty beans. Then you turned to me and said "Bobbie lets go out to eat". I was to young to realize that those were horrible beans. All I knew I was proud to have made you something to eat. That's what parents do for their children. It was Christmas eve you bought Dean and I both new bicycles. In the middle of the night Dean and I could hear you putting them together. No way could we wait until morning to ride them. So Dean said "Come on let's try them out". We waited for you to go to sleep then we got up and took them for a spin outside before you woke up. Those were the good old days. I have so many memories growing up but I just want to tell you I was proud of you and glad you were my father. I will miss you dad everyday.
I could search the world over & would not find a greater man to be my father-in-law as Bob Graves (Grandpa). He loved us all unconditionally, and would give us all he had if we needed it. I will cherish all of the great memories I have of the times we spent together over the past 32 years. I love you, Grandpa and I am greatful I was with you when you passed from this life.Until we meet again, Kim
Bonnie, Thinking of you my friend. May God comfort you.Love, Gloria Clark
Talk about one hilarious 'ol man!! I had the pleasure of being around this gentleman numerous times and there was never a dull, quiet, jokeless moment that he wasn't laughing his butt off or telling a great old story.
