Serving in both the Army and the Air Force, Robert Dale Bayird was a dedicated veteran. An amazing gamer in all forms—from darts to Dungeons & Dragons and video games—Pops played them all. Pop's love for games, especially Elder Scrolls Online and World of Warcraft, brought us together in laughter and friendly competition. Those virtual adventures weren't just games; they were shared experiences that created lasting bonds with strangers and unforgettable memories with family.
"I'll be dipped in buttermilk!" Pop would exclaim with that familiar twinkle in his eye. It was moments like those that we'll cherish forever as we remember our beloved father and papa. As we say our goodbyes, we hold onto the love he gave us and the lessons he taught. Pop, your legacy lives on in each of us, and you'll forever be in our hearts. We love you, old man!
