Robert Ellsworth "Bob" Gunckel, Jr's Obituary
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Virginia Gunckel of Muskogee, OK; his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Z.W. Gunckel of Monett, MO; and Mrs Ethel Coppinger of Muskogee, OK. Born in Muskogee, OK, Bob was a proud graduate of Muskogee High School, Class of ’63. He was an employee of Motter Bookbindery until his retirement. Bob was a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Muskogee. He resided in Tulsa for his remaining years. Bob leaves behind family and friends who adore him. His smile, his loving personality, his loyalty to OU football, and his tenacity against all odds will be remembered by everyone. BeBo. A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.Survived By: his sister, Joan Cameron and husband, Gary; their children, Kim Jeffries and late husband, Dr. Bryan Jeffries;their children, Jake, Ryan, and Abbey of Tulsa. Gary Cameron, II and wife Kelly; their children, Paris, Jonathan, Dakota, and Colton of Tulsa.; Bob’s brothers, Richard and wife, Peggy and their daughter, Staci Gunckel of Oklahoma City, OK. Hal and wife, Carol Gunckel of Skiatook, OK and their children Cory, Jennifer and John;Bob’s aunt Helen Hull of Ft. Collins, CO and many cousins.
