Robert Lee Carter, age 89 of Broken Arrow, OK passed away October 13th, 2022 in Broken Arrow. Bob was born September 20th, 1933 in Silesia, Maryland to Clyde and Thelma Carter.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty Carter, his parents, beloved daughter Rita Dodson of Broken Arrow, his great granddaughter Brinklee
Allison Kober of Valley Falls, KS, and his sister Margaret of Wagoner.
Bob is survived by his sons, son in law and family. Son Robert Carter Jr., his wife Cathy. Their son Robert Todd Carter and wife Sandra. Their children, Isabella Catherine and Reagan Emma of Rogers, AR.
Daughter Calee Kober and her husband Scott Kober. Their children Paige Michele and Carter Thomas of Valley Falls, KS.
Son Randy Carter and wife Beverly. Their daughter Tessica Carter of Tulsa, Son Chad Carter and wife Ann. Their son Brian Carter and grandson Gage. of Broken Arrow Son in law Kelvin Dodson and his children, Tami Deffenbaugh, Scott Dodson and wife Lisa and Ryan Dodson. of Broken Arrow Brother Ed Carter and wife Ginny of Bradenton, FL
Bob served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne.
Bob worked in the oilfield as a production superintendent for over 50 years.
Bobs greatest joys were his family, traveling and fishing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Graveside services will follow Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Veteran Field of Honor Ext III with Pastor Jacob Bice officiating
