Robert Dean Conwell's Obituary
Robert “Bobby” Dean Conwell, a resident of Tulsa, passed away August 19, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born in July 13, 1946 to Robert Joseph Conwell and Phyllis Jane (Hulsander) Conwell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Thailand and Vietnam. He worked 26 yrs with Campbell Beverage Co. (Coors, his favorite beer) and 21 yrs with American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic.He enjoyed tinkering with cars, TV’s and lawnmowers. He enjoyed attending TU football games, dancing, collecting junk with no use and watching sports, sports and more sports but most of all he loved spending time enjoying his grandchildren.He was preceded by his father, Robert J. Conwell; mother, Phyllis J. Conwell; brother, Gordon Conwell.Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Moody-Conwell; children, Shelly B. and Marcelous Booth, Robert W. Conwell, Lori & Chris Sparrow, Skip Smith, Jamie Williams and Cilff Gritts; grandchildren: Kayley Williams, Levi Wilhelm, Tanner Qualls, Rylie Qualls, Raegan Qualls, Rebecca Williams, Chandler Williams, Cadence Williams, Taitam Gritts, and Paisley Smith and great-grandchildren: Grayson Payton & Theodore Qualls (Due any day now!) and his siblings, Cheryl and Rick Rasor, Wayne and Debbie Conwell and Jack Conwell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Family will greet friends on Thursday, August 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 24th at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
