Robert L. Curtis' Obituary
Robert L. Curtis passed away peacefully March 15th, 2021 in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Bob was born January 7th, 1936 in Muskogee Oklahoma. He and his sisters Carroll Scranton of Tulsa and Nancy Roberts of Dallas were the children of Robert Lewis and Wanda Richards Curtis who preceded him in death.
Bob met his wife Mary Miller Curtis when they were just 14 years old. They were both very involved students of Will Rogers High School class of 1954. Bob was a talented athlete in Track and football.
Bob went on to play football for OSU where he attended college.
Bob and Mary married in 1959 and began a busy family life.
Bob worked for the family business primarily until retiring.
He enjoyed playing golf, traveling with Mary and his girls and maintaining lifelong friendships.
His kindness, humor and immeasurable character will forever be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years
Mary, their girls Leslie Curtis and Julie Brillhart, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Many extended family as well as dear friends.
Services will be held at Floral Haven Tuesday, March 23rd at 12:30pm
Visitation will be held March 22nd from 2:00 through 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22 from 2 pm - 6 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 23 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
