I was Bob's secretary in riverview, Michigan and just now saw his obituary. to his family I must say. thank you for sharing him with us. Bob taught me so much about politics, I am forever grateful to have worked with him. he really was a nice guy and an awesome boss. I'm so sorry for your loss. Karen Shay
Dear Kathy, I am just now getting word of Bob's passing. I am so very sorry. I worked for Bob when he was in Riverview and had tremendous respect for him. I am so very sorry.
I worked with Bob these last few years at URS and got to know a very kind man with a great positive outlook on life. While he mostly kept busy and focused at work, you could see his face light up when he spoke of his family. He always encouraged others, never complained, and was quick to offer kind words to anyone who needed them. Bob was a great example to many of us, and I am thankful I got to know him. To his family, I know you already know this, but he loved you all so much and was so very proud of you. For a quiet man, he had many things to say when it came to talking about all of you. My condolences go out to you, may the knowledge of the many lives he touched carry you through this difficult time.
