Robert D. Farmer, Sr. was born February 13, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He passed away on September 9, 2016. Robert enjoyed wood working and loved to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Lois Farmer; brothers, Drury Farmer and Homer Farmer; sister, Dorcas Sanders and grandson, Dusty Cagle. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan Farmer; brother, Ray Farmer; sister, Betty Bales; Brother in law, Gary Taylor and wife Abbe Taylor; son, Robert D. Farmer, Jr & wife, Bonnie; son, Dave McFarland & Teresa Thomas; daughter, Kim Harrell & husband, Keith; daughter, Lorrie Bailey & husband, Mike Bailey; daughter, Tracy Goins; eleven grandsons, six granddaughters, four great grandsons, six great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 12, 2016, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 13, 2016, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
