Robert is survived by his wife: Brenda Gilbert; Son: Chad Gilbert and his wife Misty and their children, Jace, Cade, Clete and Jett; daughter: Megan Gilbert; Son: Lonnie and his wife Jessica Gilstrap and their daughter, Charley; son: Lane and his wife Summer Gilstrap and their son, Landon. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Isabelle Gilbert; brother: Don Gilbert; nephew: Roy Mahoney.
