Robert Reynolds Jones, Sr., age 82, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, in Kiefer, Oklahoma. Born on March 22, 1942, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Robert was the beloved son of Bob and Essie Jones.
Throughout his life, Robert was known for his dedication and hard work. He spent many years as a truck driver before transitioning to a role as a dispatcher. His career was marked by his commitment and reliability.
Robert had a deep love for horses, particularly quarter horses and appaloosa horses, which he raced with great passion. He also enjoyed the thrill of chuck wagon racing and took pride in raising longhorns. His love for these activities brought him joy and fulfillment.
A proud Army veteran, Robert served his country with honor. He cherished his time spent in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and held a special place in his heart for the city.
Above all, Robert loved his family dearly. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who know him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma Gloe Jones who passed in 2023, his grandson Chance Hayes, and his sister Virginia Ash.
Left to cherish Robert’s memory are his children, son Robert Jones, Jr. and his partner Julia, daughters Brenda (Jones) Otts and her partner Roger. Linda Baker and her husband Stan, and Anita & Paul Kilgore; grandchildren Tara, James, Reid, Austin, Landen, Savana, and Payden; great grandchild Ross; sister LaVena Rush. Nephew David Beesley and wife Liz. Nieces Gina and husband Jay Justice . Danna and husband Jason Spohn and his special friends and neighbors Richard and Jacque Legg; among other family members and friends who will forever hold their memories together close.
