Robert Frank Keener's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Frank Keener, 11/16/1925 – 10/20/2017 Robert was one of seven children born to Roy and Anna Keener in Kansas City, MO. He served with the U.S. Navy during WW II and married Donna Thompson in 1951. They moved their family to Tulsa in 1967 where Robert worked at Williams Pipeline Company as a drafting manager. After retirement in 1987, Robert enjoyed reading, financial markets, photography, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of the Elks Club, a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Robert had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in making people smile and laugh. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Robert is survived by two sisters; his wife, Donna; sons, Jeff and wife Michelle, Brian and wife Tammy, Dennis and wife Lori; and grandchildren Ashley and Kyle. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Asbury United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 26th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clarehouse or The American Red Cross.
