I remember Bobby well. He was in my class at Lawton high school. My most memorable event concerning Bobby was that he and I had a short boxing match. I was bigger than he but he could handle himself and gave me a lesson in boxing. He just tapped me and was very gentlemanly about it. He was a great guy, affable, likeable and very kind to everyone. Liked and respected by everyone I knew. I am sure he will be sorely missed by family and friends. My sympathies to his family.
I am so sorry for this loss. My strongest memory of Uncle Bob was his laugh..he always had a smile on his face and was giving some one a hard time!! His voice on the radio was an instant recognition!! The last time I spoke to him was when he called me to encourage me. i had been diagnosed with cancer and he gave me the pep talk of a life time. He shared his personal struggle with cancer and how he kicked it!! He told me to not listen to any negativity and that our God is the great physician! The fact that he took time to call me was so so thoughtful. He later sent me a letter..again encouraging me to fight! His gift was to encourage and guide others in a positive way. I know he is now healed and rejoicing with his savior and all the family who has gone on before us!! My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. The Cummins Family is very sorry to learn of the loss of Bob. Our families were joined after other losses and we appreciated the Keiningham family for many years. Bob and Shirley showed a great deal of kindness and generosity to our Mother and our Mother enjoyed being a part of their family. The four granddaughters that Grandfather Kenny and Grandmother Trudy were fortunate to watch grow up, were very important and meaningful to them. Uncle Bob helped me understand how to use my voice to be convincing on radio/in commercials. That coaching helped me to have a successful career in the biz. It was always obvious that he wanted me to be successful.
I always enjoyed playing golf with Bob. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers to his wonderful family. Tom Faires
