Robert E. Kronenwetter's Obituary
~ ROBERT E. KRONENWETTER ~
January 14, 1946 – October 27, 2025
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bob was the son of Marcella Logan and stepfather Vernon Logan and was survived by his sisters Karen Harbick, Debbie McClendon, Becky Hartloper, and Linda West. He graduated from Englewood High School, was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1968 and served in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart and the rank of Sergeant. Due to ongoing injuries from Vietnam, Bob was eventually awarded 100% disability. He graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in business management.
Bob worked construction management for several companies. He started R-K Enterprises specializing in construction and industrial x-ray darkrooms. A love of motorcycles gave him cause to steer R-K Enterprises in a new direction of designing and manufacturing a line of chrome accessories for Harley Davidson motorcycles and selling to dealers nationwide.
Bob sold the motorcycle parts business to a Florida company but continued his love for anything with wheels, including riding bicycles in the Hotter’N Hell Hundred mile race in Wichita Falls, Texas in 2001, and customizing cars which included numerous street rods and a multitude of Corvettes.
Bob was a member of the Early Rods of Tulsa, the American Legion, three gun clubs, and a charter member of the Tulsa Vette Set. Bob's other passion was the Old West and cowboy action shooting; he enjoyed traveling in his motor home to these events.
