Robert Leigh CritzerRobert (Bob) was born on May 16, 1920 in Clearwater, Kansas. Died February 7, 2014 in his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Christine (Mitchell) Critzer; five children, Rex Critzer of Franklin, MI, Nancy (Critzer) Andrina of Oscoda, MI, Linda (Fite) Hopkins of Broken Arrow, OK, Sherrie (Fite) Watters of Broken Arrow, OK and Billy Fite of Durant, OK; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Critzer) Coad and Joann (Critzer) Miller and one brother, Gary Critzer. Preceding him in death were his parents, Leigh and Merle Critzer; brother, Bill Critzer, and sister, Marcele (Critzer) Shrader. From August 29, 1942 until January 7, 1946, he served in World War II in the South Pacific with the 2nd Marine Division. He was honorably discharged and received the Purple Heart and several other medals. He was a successful business owner of Randy’s Frozen Meats, Inc. for many years. He loved his family, his country and the outdoors. Visitation will be 12:00-8:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at First Christian Church of Broken Arrow.
