Robert R Morton II's Obituary
Robert Ray Morton ll, 68, of Broken Arrow, was welcomed into heaven with open arms on April 30, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Robert was born August 31, 1952 in Tulsa to Robert and Shirley Morton. He was a member of Walnut Grove Church. Robert, or some knew him as “Doc”, was a pioneer and legend in the Disc Golf Community. His love of Disc Golf spanned over the course of over 4 decades, that included 1st place in 4 state championships. He played until his retirement of the PDGA in 2014. He found a second home of many friendships while employed with QT. He was loved by everyone and was always full of joy. He was kind and brightened everyone’s day. Robert is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, of 21 years, Angela of the home; daughter Jessaca Linnabery and her husband Jake Linnabery of Tulsa; 2 Grandchildren, Kassidy Weatherly and Wyatt Linnabery; 1 Great Grandchild Hazel Shannon Smith.

There will be a viewing from 3pm-5pm on May 2, 2021 at Floral Haven. Grave site services will be On Monday, May 3, 2021 at 10 am at Floral Haven cemetery, followed by a memorial service celebrating Robert’s life at 12:30pm at the Floral Haven Chapel. There will be a gathering at the Family Services Center following his celebration of life.
