The "Real World Champion" Robert "Doc Doom" Morton. Doc was an inspiring individual. Exceptionally well spoken, witty, and imaginative. He was the guy to inspire a smile, a laugh, and perhaps some confusion regarding atomic mole people, etc.
I did not know he was a Christian...but I can see it now. He produced good fruit at every turn.
He will be missed and it will be such a pleasure to see him again one day in Heaven.
I had the honor of working with Robert for 8 years at QT. He was loved by everyone. He was always pleasant and kind. Robert was a Christian and his love for Jesus was obvious in the way he treated others. Heaven has taken back one of its angels that it loaned to us here on earth. I just know that Robert is telling the angels about atomic mole people. He was such a jokester. His smile and laughter will be missed. It's not goodbye, it's just until we meet again.
Doc Morton was well known in the disc golf community as a fun loving player and cut up. he would change after the rounds into doctor doom, with his brightly colored cape, tights, and his world championship belt. he would thrill the crowd with his "undisputed world champion" rants. what fun that was. bob, thanks for the memories. daryl
