Robert Marion Richison's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Marion Richison, 91, of Bernice, OK, passed away on August 15th, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 19, 1933, in Tulsa to Marion Pink and Jewel Richison, he married the love of his life Nonneairl Skaggs on December 23, 1951, at Home Gardens Assembly of God in Tulsa, OK. Following retirement, they relocated to their Grand Lake home in Bernice.
Bob was the founder of Empire Fence Company located at 22 N Garnett Rd in Tulsa, where it stands to this day. Known for his passion for maintaining a pristine yard, fishing, playing the guitar and banjo, and his unwavering support for the St. Louis Cardinals, Bob also served as a Deacon at Calvary Temple Assembly of God for many years.
He is survived by his wife Nonneairl, sons Ken Richison and wife Rhonda and Cliff Richison and wife Beth, daughter Mary Nelson and husband Dwain, along with 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his son Robert Marion Jr., sister Kathryn Richison, brothers Johnny B. Richison, Leonard Richison, Loyd Richison, Dick, Tommy, Bill and Luther Richison and half sister Bonnie.
A visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:30 PM, Friday, August 23, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
