Robert Arthur Sloan Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Arthur Sloan Sr. was born on October 7, 1937, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Johnnie and Ethel Sloan. He graduated from Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and went on to build a life centered around hard work, family, and the outdoors.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army for four years. Following his military service, he worked at Industrial Fabrication and HTE (Heat Transfer Equipment) before retiring.
On August 11, 1959, he married the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth Kelley. Together they built a strong and loving family.
Robert made his home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed cooking outdoors, spending time with family, and watching golf, basketball, and football. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing — and especially loving on his grandbabies and great-grandbabies. After retirement, Robert treasured the time he spent with his best friend and brother, Danny Wright, talking, fishing, and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Ethel Sloan; his beloved wife, Mary; his son, Russell Sloan; his brother and sister; and his great-grandchild, Tatum Bane Bennett.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert Sloan Jr. of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; his daughter and husband, Debra and Steve Otis of Cottondale, Florida; and his daughter, Michelle Cunningham of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Robert will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his country, and the many memories made outdoors with those he loved most.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, March 1st from 4pm-6pm. Services will follow in the Floral Haven Chapel on Monday, March 2nd, at 12:30PM. A reception will follow the graveside service - details provided at the service.
