Robert Thomson's Obituary
Robert Thomson passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 71 in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Born on February 16, 1954, to Roy and Shirley Thomson, Robert lived a life full of passion, humor, and a quiet yet steadfast presence.
A man of many interests, Robert had a deep love for pocket knives, old Westerns, and firearms. Whether he was shooting, tinkering or lost in a movie marathon, his knowledge and appreciation for these passions were unmistakable. A true craftsman at heart, he could often be found hands-on, working with tools to create or fix something, always with the goal of making something useful, practical, or beautiful.
His expertise in this area was a testament to his patience and attention to detail.
Robert’s harmonica playing was a joy to those who heard him, offering a soulful soundtrack to the everyday moments he cherished. With a voice that could fill a room and a dry, witty sense of humor, he was a big presence in any space, always ready to share a laugh or a story that left others grinning.
Despite his imposing stature, Robert was a gentle soul, deeply loyal to his family and friends. His kindness, combined with his distinctive personality, made him a memorable figure to all who knew him. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to help those in need, but who also valued his time for reflection and solitude.
