Robert Wayne Travis' Obituary
Robert Wayne Travis was born December 15, 1963 in McComb, Mississippi, to Marie (McDaniel) and Edward Ray Travis. He was one of six children, three boys and three girls. He is survived by his daughters Kaytee Lynn and Ashley Nicole and two step sons, Cody and Skyler Bolin, his grandson Brennon Slater Travis. He is also survived by his mother Marie, one brother Raymond and three sisters Brenda, Debbie and Cathy as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by his girlfriend, Carol Tate. He is preceded in death by his father Ray, and his older brother John. Robert was a good son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. He was a friend that a friend would be glad to have. He loved his family and enjoyed spending his free time with siblings and nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the outdoors , Nascar and OU football. He spent as much time as possible with his grandson and was proud to be called papa. He had an amazingly generous heart and would do anything for his friends and family. He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. He often told his daughters and nieces and nephews that life is too short to do nothing and Robert lived his days on earth accordingly. We are all better for knowing him and having him in our lives.
