Glyn was dear family friend of my parents and my family for the many years that we attended Exciting Eastwood Baptist Church. When ever I hear the term "Head Usher" I always recall Glyn's fine life time service at Eastwood. A very interesting man, and a ever a gentleman. I met Glyn at a GMC rally in OK several years back, he initiated Helen and myself in the Tulsa GMC Lunch Bunch. I met him at a number of GMC rallies thereafter and he was always a joy to be around. He was generous to a fault, I had a problem with my GMC at one of the rallies and he offered to take me to an auto parts store or let me use the Oldsmobile tow car. I am honored and humbled to have met Glyn and Melrose during the naturalization ceremonies. They both loved participating and the new citizens loved meeting with them and having photos taken with them. They would share their travels with me and Glyn shared many memories of his live with Melrose with me. It is very seldom you find a husband as devoted as he was.
