Roberta Marlene Pepin's Obituary
Roberta Marlene Pepin, 78, of Jenks, Oklahoma went home to Jesus on February 7, 2021. Roberta was born November 11, 1942 in Forest Lake, Minnesota to her parents Harold and Martha Anderson. She graduated from Forest Lake High School in Forest Lake, Minnesota and attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She married the love of her life Jerome (Jerry) Pepin on August 26, 1961.
From the moment they gave their lives to Jesus in 1970, at a Billy Graham Crusade, Roberta and Jerry’s focus has been on following the Lord’s leading. Roberta was a prayer warrior whose primary concern was to live out the love of Jesus. From teaching little children on Sundays, to meeting for coffee or ice cream, to sending notes or texts of encouragement, Roberta’s generational impact will not be fully understood in this lifetime. Roberta was a selfless and gentle soul, who will be remembered by her countless gifts, including her amazing hugs and contagious joy.
From the beginning, Roberta’s passion in life was children. Roberta and Jerry cultivated this calling by raising their family of 10 children in Minnesota- pouring into the lives of her 24 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A woman sustained by her strong faith in Jesus, Roberta embodied love, grace, and compassion. Anyone who knew Roberta would say there is no way to put into words how special she was, how much she loved them, and made each one of them feel treasured. Roberta had a genuine servant’s heart.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Doris Bullard. Roberta is survived by her husband Jerry; her daughters Kim (Brad Olson) and Jana (Lindsey Emerson); her sons Jay (Michelle), Brad (Scarlet), Nathan (Amy), Micah (Rachelle), Aaron (Michelle), Jeff (Bethany), Joel (Tanya), and Mark (Hannah); her grandchildren Jeremy, Alyssa, Ryder, Lindsay, Gabrielle, Grace, Jack, Abigail, Drew, Grant, Olivia, Claire, Dylan, Kate, Reese, Kinley, Daisy, Whitley, Duke, Anderson, Gentry, Drexel, Marshall, and Audrey; her great-grandchildren Rowan, Gideon, Everett, Zion, Baron, Oliver, Roslyn, and Caroline; her sisters Janet (James Bradley) and Beverly (Gerry Brine).
