I remember the Henderson family well as my family Kenneth and Joyce Scroggins, my sisters Suzanne, Danilu and I attended Harvard Ave. Baptist Church also. my sincere condolences to the family. Over the years, whenever the subject of an exceptional mother came up Ã?Â¢Ã¢â??Â¬Ã?Â¦ I always thought of Roeburta. To raise four great children, especially during the period that Bill was so sick and needed special attention himselfÃ?Â¢Ã¢â??Â¬Ã?Â¦. she seems to have accomplished the impossible and made it look easy. We will all miss her.

A light has gone out. Roeburta Henderson was and will always be one of my favorite people: a delightful conversationalist, role model, classy dresser, and just a lot of fun. She had many admirable strengths and virtues, but wore them with a light hand. Godspeed, my friend.
