Roger A. Clark's Obituary
Roger Alexander Clark, 50, of Collinsville, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. He was born on April 4, 1966, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Marian (Atwood) Clark. He graduated from Oologah High School in 1984. On March 4, 2009, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Landburg, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had worked as a warehouse manager at Ameristar Fence Products, in Tulsa. Roger’s hobbies included playing the saxophone, attending airshows, riding BMW motorcycles, tractors, airplanes, working on all kinds of mechanical things and various projects around the house. He loved music and enjoyed many different genres from big band to heavy metal. He loved to travel to Arizona, New Mexico, and Oshkosh, Wisconsin. However, his favorite thing in life was spending time with his wonderful family and playing with his kids. They loved to watch Oklahoma State football together and enjoyed many fall Saturdays cheering for the Cowboys as a family. Roger is survived by his wife, Jennifer Clark; son, Jayden Wilson; daughter, Evelyn “Evie” Clark; mother, Marian Clark; sister, Paula Drennon and her husband, Chuck; sister, Marietta Farmer; brother, Robert Clark II and his wife, Kathy; sister, Anne Roda; brother, Richard Clark and his wife, Beth; brother, Rod Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clark. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Oologah Assembly of God Church, in Oologah, Oklahoma. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Roger’s name to the GoFundMe account that has been set up for his children, which is listed as, College Fund for Jayden and Evie, on GoFundMe.com.
