Roger Blaine Drake's Obituary
Roger Blaine Drake passed away on January 12th, 2021 at the age of 60. Roger was born January 29, 1960 in Elyria, Ohio to Jerry Drake and Patsy Flynn. They moved to Oklahoma in 1976 where Roger graduated from Owasso High School in 1978. He worked at Frito Lay for 15 years before launching his own entrepreneurial venture Mid-American Detail Supply Co., Inc. Roger was a passionate outdoorsman, avid bass fisherman, proud business owner, lover of music, and a talented musician. He was known to forge his own path in the woods, on the water, in business, and with his guitar. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Pap who loved his family deeply including his dogs Katie and Wally.
He is survived by his wife Keri of Broken Arrow. Bonus daughters Amanda Katomski and husband Sam. Sarah Hawkins and husband Josh. Grandchildren, Gabe and Elli Katomski. Bonus Mother, Sheila Drake of Hallett, Oklahoma; brothers Mike Drake of Boothsville, West Virginia; Mark Drake of Tulsa, Oklahoma and James Drake and wife Shanna of Hallett, Oklahoma. Also, many nieces and nephews he loved and adored. He is preceded in death by his Father Jerry Drake and Mother Patsy Flynn. Roger will be missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout his life.
A memorial service is planned for Roger on Friday, January 22, 2021, at St. James United Methodist at 10 AM. The service will be in person at the church, however, if you cannot attend the service in person the church will offer a webcast.
