Roger Dale Hendricks' Obituary
Roger Dale Hendricks born April 18th 1951 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his father Tom Hendricks, brothers Tommy Hendricks and Billie Hendricks. Survived by his mother Wanda Hendricks, brother Scott Hendricks and sister in law Robin Hendricks, sisters Kathy Hendricks,Diana Harris and Velma Williams, sister in law Kathleen Hendricks and many nieces and nephews. As a boy Roger played baseball and his love of the game was the influence of his baseball card collection. Roger was a graduate of McClain High School 1969.He then went to Tulsa Business school until enlisting in the United States Air Force.He was proud to be in the Air Force and proudly served his country. Roger was stationed many places from Germany to the Aluetian Islands. Roger was always very generous, where ever he was stationed he always shipped gifts home to his family. Roger retired as Staff Sargent in 1991 coming home to his family. Roger helped take care of his father until his father passed away. He then took over the care of his mother until his own illness no longer allowed him to do so. Roger was a loving son and good brother. Three words that describe Roger: Kind, Generous and Diligent. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015.
