Roger Dale Ingrum's Obituary
Ingrum, Roger D. of Bixby passed away on November 12, 2012 in Tulsa, OK.. Roger was born on October 24, 1947 in Duncan, OK. to William H. and Yvonne L. Ingrum (Lewis). Roger was known for his gentle spirit and his attention to details and organization. He was the first double amputee to recieve a heart transplant and after losing both legs in the Vietnam war he went on to serve others as the Chief of Prosthetics for the Veterans Aministration. Roger loved to read and cook and he spent many hours in his home office as well as the flower garden organizing everything to his standard of perfection. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Ingrum (Moore) and two sons; Michael Dale Ingrum and Matthew Wade Ingrum; one brother William Vance Coleman and 3 grand-children. He will be missed by all who knew him.
