Roland Charles Theriot's Obituary
Roland Charles Theriot, age 96, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital.
Roland was born on September 30, 1929, in Kaplan, Louisiana, to Clifton Joseph Theriot and Maude Marie Lafleur Theriot. He was raised with strong values of faith, family, and service—qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
Proudly serving his country, Roland enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served during the Korean War. He was discharged with the rank of Second Lieutenant, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his nation.
On February 24, 1979, Roland married the love of his life, Margarita Maria Jones, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family, sharing many cherished years together.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Joseph and Maude Marie Lafleur Theriot, and by his sister, Cheryl Boudreaux.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Margarita "Margie" Theriot; his grandchildren; his great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him with love and gratitude.
A Rosary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Roland's life was one of honor, devotion, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
