Ronald "Ron" B. Turner's Obituary
Psalm 116:15 'Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.' Ronald Bert 'Ron' Turner, 66, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Ron was the fifth child born to Kermit and Delma Turner on June 10, 1944 in Richmond, California. The family returned to Stigler, Oklahoma in 1945 where Ron graduated high school in 1962 before moving to Tulsa. Ron was well known for his sense of humor, story telling and easy way with people. Ron made many friends throughout his life and career as a general contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leo and Kenneth. Ron is survived by a daughter, Rhonda, two sons Jason and Darren, sisters Linda and Lana, brothers Karl and Mike, 10 grand children and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, 10:00 AM, Skelly Drive Baptist Church in Tulsa. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
